Under my country’s "four-in-one" modern science and technology museum system,the science and technology museum,as an indispensable part of the social science education system,plays an increasingly prominent role in public education.Paying attention to the participation and experience of children in the science and technology museum is more related to the success or failure of the exhibition and affects the realization of the functions of the science and technology museum.As an important means of transmitting science information,interactive devices need to gain children’s attention,interest,and sense of experience,so as to truly achieve "two-way communication" between children and interactive devices.The universality of the information transmitted by the interactive installations in the science and technology museum,the novelty of the modeling design,the visuality of the interactive interface,and the children’s experience all need to combine factors such as the background of the science and technology era.Based on children,the main group of visitors to the Science and Technology Museum,this paper focuses on the age group of 6-12 years old to conduct stage research and discussion of interactive installations.By using the literature analysis method to sort out the content of children’s cognitive development: perception,attention,representation,memory,learning,thinking,development status,etc.,it is clear that cultivating children’s scientific outlook requires continuous improvement of scientific quality based on children’s cognitive development status.Organize,summarize and analyze the relevant content of domestic and foreign science and technology museums and children’s interactive installations.Investigate the interactive installations and children’s experience in science and technology museums at home and abroad,and find out the problems related to children’s experience interactive installations in domestic science and technology museums.By conducting a questionnaire survey on target users and analyzing the data,the factors that affect children’s interactive experience are summarized,a model of children’s cognitive development is constructed,and the design ideas for interactive installations of the Science and Technology Museum to meet the needs of children’s cognitive development are summarized;Shaanxi Science and Technology Museum is selected as the research site,and the The design ideas are used to guide the design of interactive installations in Shaanxi Science and Technology Museum,and the feasibility of the methodology is verified through practice.Through research,it is concluded that improving the interaction between children and installations is the main way to realize children’s gradual understanding of science,improving the adaptation of children and the professional content of science and technology museums,optimizing the interaction between children’s audience and science and technology resources,and providing science and technology museums.Provide reference for children’s experience design.
