The rapid development of the city is promoted by urban public transportation. And people's living standard is getting better and better. The demand for people to travel is getting higher and higher.People hope the travel more convenient, safer and more comfortable. At present, the integration of urban public transportation is not perfect. And the competition between the various modes of transportation, making the traffic mess.Because the number of private cars continue to increase,so the traffic congestion increased. Also with the problem of environmental pollution caused by exhaust emission and parking difficulty. Therefore,it is particularly important to coordinate and optimize urban rail transit and conventional public transit. In order to reduce the frequent occurrence of traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and low efficiency of public transportation. The construction of traffic development mode for urban rail transit as the main body and regular bus as the branch line traffic, which makes full use of the advantages and makes up for the shortage.Effectively avoid the competition between them, and enhance the connection efficiency of the urban public transport. The coordination of urban rail transit and conventional public transit has many factors and involves a wide range of factors. This paper mainly introduces three key technologies of coordination, such as site coordination, line network coordination and operation coordination. Then the key from the line network which is the design of feeder bus.The optimization model is constructed, and solved by Genetic Algorithm. In the first part, the basic theory. At first,it analyzes and compares the traffic characteristics of urban rail transit and conventional public transit, and uses their respective traffic characteristics to locate the function of them.Secondly, the meaning and characteristics of the coordination of urban rail transit and conventional public transit are discussed. Finally, the passenger flow law of the two modes of transportation and the internal and external factors that affect the passenger travel choice are compared and analyzed. In the second part, the key technology of coordination.First of all, internal and external factors of affecting coordination of urban rail transit and conventional public transit are analyzed.Second, the key technologies of the coordination of urban rail transit and conventional public transit are analyzed.Including site coordination, line network coordination and operation coordination.Transfer hub classification, layout pattern and site selection for site coordination are mainly discussed.Rail transit attraction, network coordination process and line regulation for line network coordination are mainly discussed. The principle of coordination and capacity matching for operation coordination are mainly analyzed. In the third part, the design of the feeder bus.The design of feeder bus is discussed in this part.At first, selection of feeder bus station is analyzed.Secondly,to construct a multi-objective optimization model, the minimum travel time, social public enterprises benefit, pick up the line at least. In the end,the five main modern optimization algorithms are analyzed and compared.Genetic Algorithm is selected to solve the model. And the genetic process is introduced in detail. In the last part, analysis of examples.Firstly, the development of rail transit and conventional public transit are analyzed in Xi'an.Secondly, make adjustments to the bus lines in question.Lastly.In order to verify the feasibility of the optimization model and Genetic Algorithm, for instance in Tong Hua Men and Kang Fu Lu of two rail transit station, and 12 bus stops within the surrounding area.
