In order to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion, the measure that develops the high-efficient urban public transport system is proposed. With the development and construction of urban rail transit, it plays a more and more important role in the public transport system. However, any traffic mode cannot take their full advantage without the coordination of other modes. The conventional bus is the most important in the all modes that coordinated with urban rail transit. It is of important significance to combine urban rail transit with conventional bus and actively develop feeder bus, which can give full play to the dominance of urban rail transit and construct the integrated urban public transport system. This paper studies the problem of feeder bus network design based on the coordination with urban rail transit. This paper have studied three main aspects which include the analysis of urban rail transit-feeder bus system characteristics, the study of attract scope of station and the optimization of feeder bus system. In the analysis of urban rail transit-feeder bus system characteristics, this paper analyzes the network composition of urban rail transit-feeder bus system and compares the technique and economy characters. What's more, the functional location of urban rail transit and feeder bus is put forward. The main factors that affect the passengers to choose traffic mode are analyzed and quantified as comprehensive travel costs; In the study of attract scope of station, based on the classification of urban rail transit stations, the attraction scope of different stations is analyzed using cluster analysis method. In order to prove the feasibility of this model, the fitness is compared; In the optimization of feeder bus network, the optimization idea on of feeder bus routes is curtained, and the multi-goal programming model with the objective of minimizing the total travel time of passengers and the number of feeder bus routes is established based on the analysis of optimization goals and constraints. Then the GA is built for the model, and at the end of this paper the methods are discussed on how to adjust the conventional bus line network in the attraction scope of urban rail transit.
