Due to the rapid development of social economy and the increasingurbanization, the cars ownership showed a rising trend and the urban trafficcongestion is increasing prominently. The bus development is the premiserequirement of urban sustainable development, inevitable condition ofenvironmentally friendly and resource-conserving society,and is also the majormeasure of building a harmonious society.Because of the large scale of the rail transit construction investment, rail transitlines present a rigid layout; whereas, the ground public transit network shows anelastic characteristic and the adjustable relatively easy. Therefore, the integration ofrail transit and bus transport network should take the rail transit lines as the basicframe, and based on mass transit to optimize the bus transport network convergence.The overall cohesive transportation system should stress the top-down evacuation andbottom-up collection. Along with the establishment of the backbone position of therail transit function, the transportation network service scope expanded the corridorpassenger capacity transform to track distribution passenger flow.Therefore,rail transit must be equipped with good transfer system. The built ofintegrated transport system of the rail transit and other transportation system,especially the conventional public transportation,can significantly improve theefficiency of the network.In this paper,based on the above,followed the scientific concept of developmentand highlight the "people-oriented" concept of traffic development, theelastic-demand of feeder public transit network should be reasonable scheduling toguarantee the feeder bus operation efficiency maximization and cost minimization.Then,to realize bus transport integration seamless transfer and improve the overalltraffic network efficiency,build the transit-oriented city development model.The article stated the feeder bus and its position in the public transport system,reviewed the cohesion of rail transit and the feeder bus model,and illustrated railtransit line and feeder network coordination method. Then,the construction scope andthe candidate lines set are analyzed and the solving algorithm built.After then,the rail-bus feeder bus network optimization model built. There are three goals:maximize the feeder bus passenger volume,minimize passenger’s timecosts and minimize the feeder network operating costs. Genetic algorithm is chosen tosolve the established multi-objective optimization model.Finally,the model and algorithm are verified by an example. The results showedthat after adjustment the feeder bus network optimization model and algorithm,busintegration improved.
