With the growth of our country’s economic level and the urban traffic problem intensified increasingly, improving urban traffic conditions and alleviate the traffic problem are imminent. In view of the urban rail transit’s advantages of large capacity, fast, safe, energy efficiency, pollution-free, comfortable, urban rail transit can not only effectively alleviate pressure of the city’s growing passengers demand, but also solve cities’ traffic congestion problems. Currently, cities gradually enter into the subway era and new urban public transport system whose backbone is rail transit, mainstay is, supplement is the individual traffic is the future development trend, Meanwhile, the new bus system function depend on the connection of rail transit and public traffic substantially.Firstly, the paper introduce principal theory of urban rail transit and regular connection. Through comparison of the two traffic mode’s characteristic, their respective position in the public transport system are known. Analyze mutual interactions between the two traffic modes including network layout and route relation. Briefly introduce tracks-feeder bus system.Secondly, this paper qualitatively adjust bus lines based on rail transit influence and establish bi-level programming model to add feeder bus lines. After analyzing rail transit passenger appeal, the paper propose countermeasure to qualitatively adjust existing bus lines and optimize site mainly considering station spacing. Briefly introduce the new feeder lines layout methods and mode and establish bi-level programming model which the upper maximize direct passengers flow density and the lower minimize passengers expected total travel time based on optimal travel strategy to passenger flow assignment. The upper layer use the genetic algorithm to solve and the lower use labeling method. Add feeder bus line by dynamic iterative of bi-level programming model.Finally, take rail transit line 2 of Nanchang as example to analyze. Qualitatively adjust part lines of bus which has be great influenced to make shuttle rail transit better. Select rail transit site as connection points and add feeder bus lines by using bi-level programming model in given area around connection points.
