Scenic byway is a new type of road that combines the functions of transportation,appreciation of scenery,propaganda and culture,heritage,leisure and recreation.It breaks down the road's original stereotyped transportation function and transforms it into a multi-function.Compound roads.In today's society,automobiles have become necessary transportation tools for human travel.Therefore,the quality of roads becomes extremely important for travel.The road development in China is particularly rapid at this stage.Therefore,we are actively exploring and practicing the basic functions of roads.Various characteristic roads,this time the unique "Scenery Byway" appeared,it in the protection of the ecological environment,increase the attraction of natural and humanistic resources,meet the needs of aesthetic recreation,optimize the design of urban roads,promote the economic growth of the community,etc.Play an important role.As a capital city with a rapid development of the inland economy in northwestern China,Lanzhou City is currently lagging behind in road greening development.It does not even know about scenic roads and has no practical cases.This article summarizes domestic and international research on the basis of exploring scenic byways.Planning concept,analysis and analysis of the necessary principles of landscape planning and design,selecting the entrance of Lanzhou City,Lanzhou West Expressway to the airport to carry out the conceptual landscape planning and design,planning a scenic byway with the characteristics of the northwest region.It will provide certain theoretical and practical basis for the future combination of environmental protection,leisure tourism,ecological greening,cultural heritage,and road development in the Northwest.The research content of the thesis is mainly divided into four parts:First,the purpose of essay writing is clarified,and the background,content,and methods of the essay are elaborated,and the framework of the whole article is constructed.Through the exploration and study of related theories of landscape planning and design at home and abroad,the relevant concepts of scenic byways and scenic landscapes are known.Then,the design elements and design principles of landscape planning and design were summed up according to relevant domestic and foreign literatures.The successful cases at home and abroad were analyzed and summarized,and ideas were provided for the construction of scenic roads in the selected areas.Secondly,according to the characteristics of natural features,topography,historical and cultural backgrounds and resources around the selected areas of the thesis,the scenic landscapes selected in the paper were landscaped as mountain landscapes,agricultural landscapes,and cultural landscapes,and the characteristics of highway greening in Lanzhouwere analyzed.Summarized the issues that should be taken into account when designing and planning the scenic roads of the Lanzhou Airport Expressway section.Thirdly,based on the unique natural scenery,topography,and geographical and cultural backgrounds of the Northwest selected in the paper,the characteristics of highway greening in the northwest region are analyzed,and the issues that should be taken into consideration when designing and planning the scenic roads of Lanzhou Airport ' s expressway sections are summed up.Finally,the author summarizes and summarizes the full text,draws conclusions and inspirations related to the thesis,and points out the problems existing in the research process and the prospects for the future development of the landscape.
