Research On Optimization Of J Company Warehouse Business Process

Warehouse business is one of the most important links in the whole process of logistics activities,along with the development of intelligent logistics,the intelligent problem of warehousing system also gradually get attention,the whole society puts forward new requirements for the mechanization and automation level of the warehouse system.Optimizing the warehousing business process to improve the intelligent level of the warehouse system is especially necessary for the company that provides the third-party warehousing business.Based on J Company’s warehouse business process as the research object,in reference to existing research results and related theory,introduce the operational status of J Company’ warehouse business process,including overall process,input process,storage process and output process,analyze the problems of its warehouse system,it is found that the warehousing business has long waiting time,low inventory efficiency,high damage rate of goods,slow picking speed,and the co-existence of busy and idle state.On the basis of in-depth analysis of problems,combined with the business process of the Automatic Storage and Retrieval System which is the main form of intelligent storage system,discusses the optimization of warehouse business process which provides a detailed description from overall process,input process,storage process and output process,the aim is to improve the intelligent level of J company’ warehouse operation,after that analysis the optimization process by Petri net model.Then,using the FlexSim software to simulate the existing and the optimized warehouse business process,by comparing and analyzing the simulation results,the validity and feasibility of the optimization are clarified.In the end,the relevant safeguards of implementing the optimization plan is introduced from management philosophy,capital input,technical support,personnel protection and system support,hope to improve the intelligence of J company.
