Since the birth of the concept of the Internet of Things,the Internet of Things technology has achieved many successful commercial applications.For the warehousing and logistics industry,traditional management processes and methods cannot meet the challenges posed by changes in market demand.Intelligent management combined with the Internet of Things has become Inevitable development trend.The warehousing business is the heart of a logistics enterprise.The intelligence and efficiency of the warehousing process can expand the business scale of the enterprise,enhance the customer experience,improve the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market,and thus greatly improve the efficiency of the enterprise.Company A is an integrated logistics supplier in the international freight industry,with the vision of creating a first-class smart logistics platform enterprise.This paper takes company A's warehousing business as the research object,and applies the Internet of Things technology to optimize the warehousing business as a whole,and finally achieves the goals of standardized business processes and refined warehousing management.Based on the theoretical basis of the Internet of Things and process optimization,through an on-site investigation,the company's warehousing business and the current status of the warehouse area were generally introduced.Aiming at Company A's business pain points,combined with the ASME analysis method,the needs and objectives of warehousing business optimization were obtained.Under the guidance of optimization goals,combined with the key technologies of the Internet of Things and its application in smart warehousing,an integrated solution including infrastructure construction and software applications is proposed.The company's main warehousing business link,that is,the acceptance of goods and the goods in and out of the warehouse,were optimized,and the optimized effect was verified by the model using the Petri net method.The introduction of the Internet of Things technology has promoted the construction process of Company A's smart warehousing,which not only realized the cost reduction and efficiency increase of the warehousing business,but also laid the foundation for the upgrade of its business scale and enhanced its market competitiveness.
