This article research about Hongze Lake district ecological tourism,defines the concept of Hongze Lake district and ecotourism based on the statement of subject background,research significance,research actuality,analyses the theoretical basis of ecology,landscape ecology and sustainable development.Secondly,this research provides analysis on tourism resources of Hongze Lake district from regional traffic condition,natural geography condition and social economic environment and other basic information,gives a comprehensive and deep analysis on the current situations,advantages,deficiencies of the development of ecotourism.Thirdly,regarding to the deficiencies,makes the points on the development strategy and orientation,development principle and layout of the area surrounding Hongze Lake,provides tourism products designs,development strategy and suggestions on tourism transportation network system buildup.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)Hongze Lake district has rich tourism resources,including natural ecotourism resources and cultural ecotourism resources,regional traffic,natural geography conditions and social economic environment are all the beneficial factors of Hongze Lake tourism development.(2)Although there are some achievements on Hongze Lake eco-tourism development,problems are coming out during the develop processing,general are due to indistinct Orientation,lack of integrity on development layout,lack of characteristic feature and incomplete traffic system.(3)Considering on local practical situation,suggestions are given on problems mentioned above accordingly.Integration and coordination principles must be followed during the ecotourism development process.
