| In recent years,as an important means for teaching of vocational education and reforming of curriculum,the information technology based 3D animation technology has gradually been applied to the teaching process of diversity courses.The course of “Mineral and Rock Identification” is the basic course of the “Engineering Exploration Technology” profession in the secondary vocational school,which is characterized with having conceptual abstraction,multiple professional vocabulary and equal significance in theory and practice,etc.Meanwhile,due to lack of teaching assistant tools of this course,students have low efficiency of learning.Therefore,we applied three methods(literature research method,questionnaire method and quasi-experimental method)to collect the application of 3D animation in the “Mineral and Rock Identification” in the secondary vocational school and analyze current problems in the teaching process.The 3D teaching system have been designed and developed for satisfaction the course of “Mineral and Rock Identification”,exploring the teaching mode and strategy applied to the 3D animation teaching of the secondary vocational school and launched the application research of 3D teaching system in the teaching practice of “Mineral and Rock Identification”.The constructivism theory,embodied cognition theory,cognitive load theory,and instructional system design theory,etc.have been discussed,and applied these theories to the design,exploration and application of 3D teaching system in the course of “Mineral and Rock Identification” in this paper.Besides,we also analyzed the characteristics of students and course characteristics,and proposed the principles,patterns and processes of the design of this course.Especially,the function of 3D teaching system is explicated.The important and difficult points of “Mineral and Rock Identification” such as the 47 kinds of geometry monomorphous features of crystal,symmetry elements of crystal and symmetry operation of crystal have been pre-teaching analyzed.Meanwhile,combined with the application of 3D teaching system,the teaching practice process is elaborated in detail.We take the teaching knowledge of symmetry operation of crystal as an example,expound the practical application of 3D animation teaching system in detail in classroom teaching,and apply the questionnaire survey method and quasi-experimental method to analyze the practical application effect of this teaching system.The results show that this teaching system can not only visualize the abstract and microcosmic concept and improve the students’ interest in learning,but also break through limited imagination of students and cultivate students’ ability of 3D space imagination,and greatly improve the teaching effect of this course. |
