Creative Menswear Design Based On Combination Of Tibetan Monk's Garments' Elements And Gathering Technique

China has a long history and it is also a multi-ethnic country with rich connotations.As one of the 56 ethnic groups with unique characteristics,the unique natural environment and living conditions make the Tibetan form its own style and characteristics,among which the Tibetan people are concerned by the world because of its mysterious religious culture,unique life style and different customs.Tibetan Buddhism is a part of Chinese traditional culture.Tibetan monk's clothing,also known as Tibetan Sangha's clothing,is one of the most representative external images of Tibetan Buddhism,which not only contains its profound cultural connotation but also embodies its strong plateau culture and national religious characteristics.In the process of observation and research on Tibetan monks' clothing,it is found that there are strict regulations on Tibetan Buddhist monks' clothing,and their shapes and systems are different and rigorous according to different sects and grades,but the overall appearance features are similar,all of which are characterized by drapery,winding and looseness.Under the background of this kind of clothing style,a large number of naturally formed pleats can be seen everywhere in Tibetan monks' clothing.The color of Tibetan monks' clothing is also very special.Tibetan monks basically only wear red,yellow and soap colored clothing.Under the strict clothing form,Tibetan monks' clothing and accessories have significant characteristics.In this paper,the origin,historical background and shape of Tibetanmonks' clothing will be studied to find out the significant characteristics and symbolic representative elements of Tibetan monks' clothing.With the globalization of economy and culture,Chinese and Western culture are blending constantly,and the influence of Western clothing on Chinese contemporary youth can be seen.As one of the frequently used garment technologies,pleating technology has a close relationship with the formation and human body.The design of pleating technology depends on the movement law of human body,and embodies its function and decoration everywhere in modern garment design.The pleating process seems to be simple,but there are many different forming methods and principles,and the appearance effect is different with different methods.In this paper,the definition,formation principle and method of pleating technology will be studied,and the characteristics of pleating technology will be analyzed and summarized by combining with the outstanding and skillful representative design masters in modern times.The mobility and instability of the natural pleats on Tibetan monk's clothes make the clothes have full modeling possibilities.This paper intends to re interpret the pleats naturally formed in Tibetan monk's clothes in the way of pleating technology,combine Tibetan monk's clothing culture with modern clothing technology,present Tibetan traditional monk's clothing culture in a new way,and refine Tibetan Buddhism culture Pith is presented in the way of creative fashion,and the design principle of the combination of elements and pleating technology of Tibetan monk's clothing summarized by the elements of clothing design and the combination of design principles is used to make a creative menswear design collection.
