Creative Application Of Tibetan Carpet Artelements In Fashion Design

Tibetan tapestry is one of the most representative ethnic artworks in the art of Tibetan weaving.It has high artistic value and use value.Tibetan carpets are made of plateau white wool and yak hair as the main materials.Through artificial twisting,natural plant dyeing and manual weaving,the finished products have rich patterns,beautiful colors and profound meanings.They are excellent ethnic handicrafts worthy of our learning and inheritance.Based on the folk culture,historical background and regional characteristics of the Tibetan people,this paper analyzes the development history,development prospect and survival status of Tibetan tapestries.Firstly,the patterns,patterns and colors of classical Tibetan carpets were summarized and sorted out through a large number of literatures.Then,the customs,costume characteristics and residential environment in multiple regions of Tibet were investigated by field investigation,and the application status of Tibetan carpets in residential houses was analyzed,as well as the correlation with the colors and patterns of clothes.At last,the technological process of Tibetan carpet is sorted out through the investigation of Tibetan carpet factory,and the process of Tibetan carpet weaving is studied and practiced.The representative patterns,colors and crafts of Tibetan carpet art are combined with costume design to study the innovative expression methods of Tibetan carpet elements in costume structure,fabric and technique,so as to inherit and apply Tibetan carpet art creatively.
