With the improvement of modern living standards,in the field of clothing,consumers have both aesthetic and can reflect the cultural connotation of clothing demand is increasing.Therefore,today's clothing designers more and more attention to the localization and ethnization of clothing,pay attention to express their own spirit through clothing.Due to the brilliant colors and ethnic characteristics of traditional Tibetan clothing in China,and in its long process of development,absorb multiple cultures,full of unique artistic feelings,both practical and aesthetic.Therefore,the study will be the classic structure of Tibetan Robes and traditional Tibetan patterns with modern menswear design,to explore the possibility of traditional elements and menswear design.By collecting and sorting out the literature and materials of Tibetan gowns,it introduces the existing researches on the shape,patterns and historical development of Tibetan gowns at home and abroad.Through the structure of Tibetan gowns and traditional Tibetan patterns,it analyzes the characteristics of Tibetan gowns in terms of color,dressing style,structure and historical development factors,and expounds the diverse charm of Tibetan patterns.This design practice uses the typical Tibetan gown structure and the combination of traditional patterns and modernist styles in the garment structure.By referring to the large silhouette of Tibetan gowns and the unique “cross-shaped plane structure” and “deeply hidden inserts” The cutting method of "corner structure" is used to design clothing,and to study and explore the possibility and influence of the combination of traditional Tibetan clothing and modernist style;secondly,in terms of clothing fabrics,a large number of fabrics of the same color are used with heavy fabrics such as wool and leather.It adopts stacking and splicing design instead of the bulky fur and cotton and linen fabrics of traditional Tibetan gowns to achieve an exaggerated silhouette.Digitally printed mesh fabrics are used to reflect the Tibetan tattoo culture,and leather is used to make exaggerated moire patterns and Tibetan characters.The decorative patterns imitate the exaggerated decorative effects of Tibetan costumes,reflecting the unique Tibetan costume decoration culture.While simplifying the rich decorative colors and various patterns in clothing,it also enriches the visual effects.Based on the practice of combining the structure of Tibetan robes and traditional patterns with the design of menswear,this paper points out that when using the elements of Tibetan traditional clothing to design modern clothing,we must combine the modern fashion trend and modern consumption aesthetics.The combination of traditional Tibetan clothing and menswear design can provide impetus for the development of clothing with both fashion sense and ethnic connotation,and infuse vitality and vitality into the development of modern clothing.
