A Study On The Inheritance And Development Of "Canton Enamel" From The Perspective Of Oral History

In 2008,"Canton enamel" was included in the second batch of national Intangible Cultural Heritage list.On the basis of previous studies and from the perspective of oral history of non-inheritors of "Canton enamel",this paper combines real objects and documents to clarify the historical development of "Canton enamel",restore the characteristics of the firing technique of "Canton enamel",and puts forward specific protection suggestions for the inheritance of "Canton enamel" technique.In order to better promote the inheritance and development of "Canton enamel" technique,and further provide relevant reference for exploring the inheritance and development of intangible heritage protection of traditional ceramic firing technique,this study has certain practical significance for promoting Chinese ceramic culture and realizing the Renaissance of ceramic culture.This paper discusses the origin and development of "Canton enamel" and puts forward a "seven-stage theory" in the history of "Canton enamel".According to the comprehensive factors such as the shape and system characteristics,artistic characteristics,production system and market size,"Canton enamel" is divided into seven stages,including start-up,formation,development,innovation,maturity,decline and recovery,providing a new perspective for the historical stages of "Canton enamel".It is found that the "Canton enamel" technique was closely related to the porcelain market in the long history of its development.In the process of meeting the market demand,it constantly promoted the innovation of the technique and was once imitated by the surrounding countries."Canton enamel" technique not only integrates the characteristics of western enamel painting technology,but also combines the traditional Chinese porcelain painting techniques,forming a set of unique decorative painting technology.At present,the inheritance of "Canton enamel" technique is faced with a shortage of talents and successors.Market contraction and lack of innovation;Limited knowledge,unknown location and other difficulties.Nowadays,as the country attaches great importance to the cultural industry and the protection of "intangible cultural heritage",some policies and documents have been issued to support the "Canton enamel" industry.There is still a large space for development.In order to promote the inheritance and development of "Canton enamel",we should first pay attention to the cultivation of talents,pay attention to the situation of non-inheritors of "Canton enamel",encourage them to teach "Canton enamel" skills,and cultivate reserve force for the development of "Canton enamel".Secondly,the consumer market should be cultivated.On the basis of adhering to the core of the traditional "Canton enamel" culture,reasonable development and utilization can be carried out from the aspects of product types,content styles,application scenarios,etc.,so as to win space for the development of "Canton enamel" industry.Finally,a comprehensive and in-depth study of "Canton enamel" should be carried out,and the research results should be fully applied to the inheritance and development of contemporary "Canton enamel",so as to enhance the social recognition of "Canton enamel",let the public understand its cultural connotation and clarify its development orientation.
