Comparative Study On The Application Of National Culture Elements In Chinese And Japanese Fashion Design

China is an ancient civilized country with a history of more than 5,000 years.After more than five thousand years of gestation and deposition,inheritance and development,a splendid and profound national traditional culture has been formed.The cultural elements contained in the traditional national culture are the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation in successive dynasties.It has various forms and a long history.Nowadays,these national cultural elements have been deeply integrated into our life,especially in the field of art design;national cultural elements have been widely used,constantly inspiring Designers’ creative inspiration.As the first part of "clothing,food,housing and transportation",clothing that conforms to Chinese aesthetic feeling has been actively explored by fashion designers since ancient times.From Han clothes to Zhongshan clothes,from long gowns and horse wear to Qipao,there is a wide variety of ethnic minority clothing with unique features.The application of ethnic cultural elements in clothing can be described as incisive.With the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,China is playing an increasingly important role in various fields of the world.Chinese fashion designers are also re-examining the connotation of national cultural elements,promoting the spread and development of Chinese culture through costume design,and gaining a place on the world fashion stage.Japan and China belong to the same East Asian countries.The origin and development of Japanese national culture are deeply influenced by China.The kimono,which has the most national characteristics in Japan,also evolved from the clothing of Tang Dynasty.With the rise of Japan’s modern national strength,Japan’s garment industry has also developed rapidly.World-class designers such as Kenzo Takada and Kubo Kawabata,Miyazaki,Yasushi Yamamoto and Sen Yinghui have emerged.The elements of Japanese national culture contained in their garment works have also been recognized by the world fashion community.Compared with Japan,China has a deeper cultural heritage,But on the international fashion stage,our influence is still far behind that of Japan.By analyzing the national cultural elements of China and Japan,this paper makes a comparative study on the differences of different cultural foundations between the two countries,expounds the application status of national cultural elements in Chinese and Japanese fashion design,analyses the inheritance and innovation of Chinese modern fashion design under the influence of national culture and the wave of Japanese modern fashion culture,and puts forward Chinese fashion designers.On the one hand,we shouldcontinue to explore the connotation of Chinese national cultural elements and Chinese traditional costume technology.On the other hand,we should be brave enough to connect with the international fashion circle and display Chinese characteristic costume language on the international stage with the unique charm of Chinese national cultural elements.There are 71 pictures and 39 references.
