Research On The Application Of Cultural Elements Of Weifang Kite In Fashion Design

Weifang kite is one of the first batch of intangible cultural heritage in China.Its emergence and development embodies the simple spiritual and cultural connotation of people in Weifang and is a cultural resource with research value.Excellent cultural resources should not be displayed in museums,but should be transformed and applied in accordance with the current era style and people's life needs,so that they can be better inherited and protected.This thesis focuses on the theory and practice of the application of Weifang kite culture elements in clothing works.First of all,the origin,evolution and genre of Weifang kites are sorted out and compared,and used as the theoretical basis for the analysis of the cultural elements of Weifang kites.Secondly,through in-depth research on the visual expression and pattern design methods of Weifang kite modeling,the characteristics of "connotative abstraction" and "expressive representation" of Weifang kite cultural elements are summarized and extracted.Then,combined with the characteristics of clothing design,it is proposed that the Weifang kite culture elements should follow the design concept that reflects the abstract connotation,the pattern design that integrates the fashion concept,and the innovative way of clothing modeling that highlights the skeleton structure.Finally,according to the characteristics of the cultural elements of the Weifang kite,we selected the dragonfly centipede kite in Weifang kite as the inspiration source for the practical application of clothing design;the design methods of the pulse wave,twisted liquid,virtual reality and other pattern styles were given to the dragonfly centipede pattern fashion visual effect;Reflective inlays are used to highlight the skeleton structure line of the clothing,and the contrast of nylon organza fabric and polyester woven fabric is used to create a layered sense of the clothing structure;the cultural elements of the Weifang kite are fully transformed in the six sets of clothing works.Through combing the characteristics of weifang kite cultural elements,combining the latest fashion trend to design clothing products,digging its intrinsic value,finding the design method of weifang kite cultural elements into modern life products,and integrating the cultural elements of weifang kite into the trend of fashion art design.It is hoped that the research content of this paper can provide some reference for the extraction of cultural elements of intangible cultural heritage and its application in costume design.
