The elderly are mainly people over the age of 60.With the aging of China's population,the number of elderly people is increasing,and the corresponding service demand is also increasing.Helping the elderly to establish a scientific and rational diet concept,rational diet structure,and raising to become a good eating habit,through dietary guidance,improve dietary quality and other measures to meet the dietary needs of the elderly and improve the quality of life of the elderly.Based on this reality,this article based on the basic theories of dietary guidelines for the residents and the nutritional needs of the elderly,firstly,through empirical research on the impact of dietary patterns on the health of the elderly.It is concluded that the diet structure,cooking and processing methods,eating habits,and eating atmosphere have an impact on the health of the elderly.The diet consists of staple food,coarse grains,vegetables,fruits,milk,meat,beans,edible oil,etc.;cooking and processing methods including cold and raw food,steamed,boiled,stewed,fried,roasted,microwave,oven,fried Etc.;eating habits include the number of daily meals,the numbers of eating breakfast per week,the degree of eating barbecue,the intake of salt and sugary drinks etc.;the dining atmosphere includes the number of accompanying meals,the eating environment,and the dining mood.Empirical studies have also shown that the elderly in China currently have low intake of fruits and milk,and the intake of edible oil and salt is high.Then,based on the results of empirical research,the dietary pattern of the elderly was optimized.In terms of diet,the average daily intake of staple food is 200~350g,the intake of coarse grains is 100~200g,the intake of fruits is 200~400g,the intake of vegetables is 400~500g,the intake of milk is 300 g,beans and bean products intake 30~50g,poultry meat intake 150 g,edible oil intake 20~25g;Cooking and processing methods should be steamed,boiled,stewed and fried;eating three times a day in eating habits,daily eat breakfast,eat 6 g of salt per day,less barbecue,less sugary drinking;in the dining atmosphere,there are 2 people accompanying the meal is the best,you should choose a clean and tidy dining environment,especially the dining attitude,in a normal state of mind When eating,the elderly have the highest proportion of physical health.A daily meal recipe for the elderly was developed based on the relevant content of the optimized meal pattern.Finally,suggestions for the implementation of optimized dietary patterns for the elderly are proposed,including the state to strengthen macro guidance,local governments must strengthen management,and relevant social departments must actively cooperate,and family members should pay attention to the implementation of optimized dietary patterns.
