In the past 40 years,China's economy has achieved rapid development.With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization and the over-dependence on natural resources,environmental problems have become increasingly prominent.With the increasing awareness of environmental protection among residents,the government has intensified its efforts in environmental protection and vigorously promoted the development of green economy.The prevention and control of air,water and soil pollution has been included in the action plan of environmental protection.A environmental protection company is A comprehensive environmental service provider mainly engaged in environmental monitoring and consulting services,environmental engineering,and the research,development and application of new environmental protection materials.Facing the increasingly fierce business environment,it is urgent for the company to clearly identify its internal and external environment and determine the development direction and goal of the enterprise.This paper analyzes the opportunities and threats in the external environment of A environmental protection company through PEST analysis,porter's five forces model and EFE analysis.Through the analysis of A environmental protection company resources and capabilities,and the use of IEF analysis method to analyze the existing advantages and disadvantages and then through the IE matrix analysis method to get A environmental protection company should adopt the development strategy.Through analysis,the paper concludes that the opportunities in the external environment of A environmental protection company are greater than the threats,and the advantages in the internal environment are greater than the disadvantages.It is concluded that the company should adopt the expanding development strategy,the specialized development strategy and the integration development strategy in the short and medium term,and the related diversification development strategy in the long term.Finally,to ensure the effective implementation of the company's development strategy to put forward safeguard measures and recommendations.
