The logistics industry is the basic and service-oriented industry of social and economic development. The higher the degree of development, the higher the market activity and prosperity, and the faster the social and economic development. The Yangtze River Economic Belt has always run through important economic axes and is one of the most economically dense areas in my country. The logistics industry plays an important role in the national economy, but it also has some problems, such as environmental pollution and high energy consumption. Therefore,in order to achieve the green and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and my country's economy,it is of great significance to study how to improve the green total factor productivity of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Measuring and decomposing the green total factor productivity of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt can intuitively understand the development status and regional comparison of the entire Yangtze River Economic Belt,so as to explore ways to improve the level of the logistics industry's green total factor productivity. Therefore, the research in this paper is mainly carried out from the following aspects.First, this paper studies the economic development status of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and its impact on the environment;then, considering the energy input and undesirable output and operability, this paper uses the DEA-Malmquist index method to measure 11 Yangtze River Economic Belt Provincial and municipal logistics industry's green total factor productivity and its decomposition indicators from 2007 to 2016,and the comparative analysis of the measurement results between regions and provinces. After that, the fixed-effect model and the spatialeconometric model were used to study the influencing factors of the logistics industry's green total factor productivity(the four main influencing factors of economic development level, environmental regulation, openness to the outside world, and industrial structure),and a comparative analysis was conducted. Finally, based on the analysis results, some countermeasures and suggestions are given to provide some references for the green development of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The conclusion of the study mainly includes the following three aspects:(1)From 2006 to 2017,the GDP of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt all rose to varying degrees, that is,the growth rates were all positive. The production economic difference between the lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the middle and upper reaches of the logistics industry is obvious, showing the distribution of the upstream and downstream of the downstream, but the proportion of the downstream logistics industry's GDP is obviously declining, but the upstream is in an upward trend, and the middle reaches are generally unchanged.(2)The overall green productivity level of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has increased, and technological progress has been improved and used as the main driving force, but the technical efficiency is in a state of negative growth, and there is much room for improvement. The technical efficiency and technological progress indicators of the logistics industry in the three major regions are more consistent with green total factor productivity, with the highest in the upstream region, followed by the middle reaches, and the lowest in the downstream, and the technological progress in the three major regions is the trend of progress, while the technical efficiency is only in the upstream region.Improvement, the rest are backwards. At the provincial level, under the environmental constraints, the logistics industry in Guizhou,Chongqing and Zhejiang has the best productivity growth, while the logistics industry in Anhui,Hubei and Jiangxi has the lowest green total factor productivity index, indicating that its productivity growth is under negative growth under the constraints of the energy environment At present, the environmental pollution control related to the logistics industry has not achieved the expected results.(3)Analysis of spatial error model: The spatial error model after the introduction ofspatial factors has changed coefficients compared with the fixed-effect model.Except for opening up factors, the influence of explanatory variables on the green total factor productivity of the logistics industry has reversed.,The positive direction becomes negative, the negative direction becomes positive, and all indicators become significant. It is worth noting that the opening up to the outside world showed a positive influence before and after the introduction of spatial factors, and it became significant, indicating that this indicator has a very important impact on the development of green total factor productivity in the logistics industry in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Finally, based on the above research conclusions, countermeasures and suggestions for improving the green production efficiency of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are proposed: implementing regional linkage policies, focusing on promoting the development of the upstream logistics industry;focusing on improving the efficiency of the logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt;expanding the degree of opening to the outside world;Develop low-carbon logistics, strengthen coordinated management of environmental pollution;promote the upgrading of industrial structure.
