Design And Implementation Of MAP Query System Based On ArcGIS Server

The development of computer science has changed the bearing media of traditional maps.It has increased the expression and enriched the content and transmission information of maps.With the popularity of geographic information services,the web-based network map query system provides users with various map information services.In terms of map query system,the map data needed for visualization can be both vector and raster data.The vector data can provide interactive operation while the raster data can make the map interface even more beautiful.In this paper,in order to improve the visualization speed of the map system and make it more beautiful,the vector and raster data were selected and combined to design the map system.Based on the basic map data of Dalian city,a map query system was design by using ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS API for JavaScript combined with jQuery library,which provides the map information query service for the users at the Web side and convenience for the personal travel of users.Below are the main contents of this paper:(1)Use Douglas-Peucker simplification algorithm to simplify the vector data and use ArcGIS Server to make raster cache data to store locally.The reduction of vector data and the use of grid slices can improve the efficiency of system operation and rendering,and increase the response speed of the server.(2)Take ArcGIS Server and IIS as the server,the Google browser as the platform for the interaction between the system and the users,and the.NET Framework SDK as the development framework.Build the WebGIS system in JavaScript language,and design the WebGIS page with Bootstrap library to make the system interface more concise and beautiful.(3)Combine the powerful classes provided by ArcGIS API with the interactive functions provided by the jQuery library to realize the function modules of the map query system: map module,Navigation toolbar module,attribute query module,classification information query module,spatial query module and shortest path analysis module.At present,the functions of map query system have been fully realized,and each functional module can provide certain functions and services: the map module allows users to enter the map query system and browse maps and functional interface;the navigation toolbar module provides users with quick and convenient function;theattribute query module enables users to query the detailed attribute information of the map;the classification information query system can provide users with all map information of a certain category;the spatial query module allows users to select a certain range on the map and query spatial information in the selected area;the shortest path analysis module can provide users with the shortest path planning between the departure and the destination.This map query system runs steadily and has a clear interface,which not only meets the demand of users for different map information query,but also provides a reference for building a similar map system.
