Research On Guangdong Province Marine Industry Competitiveness Based On Entropy TOPSIS Model

The 21 st century is a century of oceans.The competition for global oceans,characterized by snatching ocean resources and occupying ocean space to maximize the benefits of the ocean economy,is increasing day by day.At the same time,the marine industry has a strong correlation,and each industry has a strong mutual driving force.The development of the marine industry can promote the common development of other economic industries to a certain extent.How to improve the competitiveness of the marine industry and make the marine industry stand out from the international marine competition is an important issue in today's marine development.At present,China has entered the end of the "13th Five-Year Plan",which is the key node to realize the transformation of China's industrial structure and the adjustment of economic structure.The development of the marine industry and the improvement of the competitiveness of the marine industry are regarded as the marine economy in various coastal areas The goal of development,while the upsurge of the development of the marine industry has been formed.Therefore,it is of great significance to scientifically and reasonably evaluate the competitiveness of the marine industry and propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The thesis is based on comparative advantage theory,industrial competitiveness theory and product differentiation theory.It uses comparative analysis,empirical analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to study the competitiveness of Guangdong's marine industry.The full text is divided into the following parts:The first part of the introduction mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance of the paper,summarizes the research status at home and abroad,points out the research content,ideas and methods of the paper,and summarizes possible innovations and difficulties.The second part is the concept definition and theoretical basis.It defines the concepts of marine industry,industrial competitiveness and marine industry competitiveness,and expounds the theoretical basis of comparative advantage theory,industrial competitiveness theory and product differentiation theory.The third part combines the advantages of Guangdong's marine industry development and the three marine industry development conditions in Guangdong Province,analyzes the current status of Guangdong's marine industry development,and expounds the problems in the development of Guangdong's marine industry.The fourth part conducts empirical analysis,selects relevant data samples of marine industry development in 10 provinces in Guangdong and coastal areas by establishing an evaluation index system,and uses the entropy-weight TOPSIS model for empirical analysis.Comprehensive evaluation of the development competitiveness and the comprehensive competitiveness of the marine industry.The fifth part mainly proposes countermeasures to improve the competitiveness of Guangdong's marine industry from the aspects of technological innovation,overall layout,opening to the outside world,reform of maritime institutions and marine ecological environmental protection,and puts forward suggestions for improving Guangdong's marine industry.The sixth part is conclusion and prospect.Through research,the following understandings can be formed:(1)Guangdong's marine industry is the most competitive.With its favorable marine resource conditions and the government's support for the marine industry,Guangdong Province's marine industry has far exceeded the development of other provinces.According to the evaluation results of the entropy-weight TOPSIS model and the division of marine industry competitiveness evaluation,the paper divides 11 coastal provinces into five levels,of which Guangdong Province is divided into one level.(2)Guangdong's marine industry has location advantages,marine resource advantages and infrastructure advantages.These advantages make Guangdong's marine industry a leader among coastal provinces,but it also exposes its development problems.Guangdong Province should formulate differentiated industrial development ideas and countermeasures based on its own advantages and exposed problems.(3)The thesis uses entropy-weight TOPSIS model and evaluation model to study the development status of marine industry in 11 coastal provinces and regions in 2016,and comparative analysis shows the development status of marine industry in Guangdong Province.The model eliminates the impact of statistical errors on the assessment results,and uses graded assessment to reasonably determine the assessment level of the competitiveness of the marine industry.
