The species of Syrphidae from Shaanxi Changqing National Nature Reserve were investigated,where revolved around four sub-reserve sites including Yangjiagou,Shanshuping,Dongping and Maoping Town.2539 speciments of Syrphidae,some from Qinba biology museum collections and come gathered in the field were studied,and 47 genera and 125 species in three subfamilies and 15 tribes are recognized,in which 25 genera and 64 species belong to the subfamily Syrphinae,21 genera and 59 species to Eristalinae,and 1 genus and 2 species to Microdontinae.Three newly described species: Graptomyza huayangens sp.nov.,Graptomyza bimaculata sp.nov.and Lejops punctulatus sp.nov.One newly recorded from China: Temnostoma carens Gaunitz,1936.And 15 species newly are recorded from Shaanxi Province: Platycheirus clypeatus(Meigen,1822),Pipiza austriaca Meigen,1822,Syrphus fulvifacies Brunetti,1913,Eupeodes latimacula(Peck,1969),Epistrophe bashanensis Huo,Ren et Zheng,2007,Sphegina univittata Huo,Ren et Zheng,2007,Cheilosia quarta Barkalov et Cheng,2004,Cheilosia scutellata(Fallén,1817),Cheilosia sini Barkalov et Cheng,1998,Spilomyia manicata(Rondani,1865),Spilomyia sulphurea Sack,1910,Rhinotropidia rostrata(Shiraki,1930),Pararctophila brunnescens Huo et Shi,2007,Volucella laojunshanana Qian et Qin,2010,Volucella linearis Walker,1852.The analyse result of studying Syrphidae species show that Episyrphus balteatus(De Geer)and Eristalis cerealis Fabricius are the dominant species of Syrphidae in this reserve,and Eristalis tenax(Linnaeus)and Sphaerophoria taeniata(Meigen)are the common species.Additionally,the number of species for the genera Syrphus Fabricius,Eristalis Latreille and Eupeodes Osten Sacken is large.The species of Syrphinae is richer than the other two subfamilies.On species diversity research for different months,we concluded that the Margalef of species is 12.93 in August,dominance concentration index of 0.94,pielou evenness index of 0.67,which are the highest.So August is the time that the overall activity and species richness are the highest,and it is also the most active time for hoverfly in the middle five months of a year.Through cluster analysis of different months,it can be seen that the Jaccard diversity index between July and August is the highest by clustering analysis.It shows that the species of Syrphidae in July is similar to the species of Syphidae in August.Finally,we analyse the fauna of Syrphidae in the Shaanxi Changqing National Nature Reserve,and it results: the hoverflies distributed in this reserve belong to common species fromPalaearctic and Oriental region,and the species just distributed in Oriental region are main species in the reserve.Therefore,the species composition of the hoverflies in the reserve has characters that show both in Palaearctic and Oriental regions..
