The stability of vegetation ecosystem is affected by biological and abiotic factors. The influence of soil microorganisms on the stability of vegetation ecosystem is a hot issue in this field. The main research object of this paper is arbuscular mycorrhizal fung i(AM fungi),because they could build intergrowth relationship with 80% of terrestrial plants. The rhizosphere soil of six vegetation zones(Alpine scrub, deciduous broad-leaved forest,Evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest, evergreen broad-leaf forest,C oniferous forest,Bamboo forest)in Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve was collected.Wet-sieving and sucroes density gradient centrifugation methods to isolate spores of A MF and based on morphological characters and Nested-PCR to identify species.Commu nity distribution and species diversity were analyzed by statistical method. The results showed,There are abundant AM fungi resources in Fanjingshan Nation al Nature Reserve. We found 11 genera and 30 species,They account for 75%,45% an d 40% of the world's known genera.Glomus 11 species,Acaulospora 4 species,Sclerocys tis 4 species,Gigaspora 3 species,Scutellospora 1 species,Corymbiglomus 1 species,D iversispora 1 species,Ambispora 1 species,Rhizophagus 1 species,Septoglomus 1 species.Phylogenetic analysis of the 18 S rDNA AML1-AML2 squence was used to identify th e dominant AM fungi, including,Scutellospora calospora,Acaulospora koskei,Gigaspora m argarita. The species diversity analysis of AM fungi in Fanjingshan National Nature Reserveshowed.Glomusis thepredominant genera,Acaulosporais the subdominant genera. The others is associated genera or occasional genera. The diversity of AM fungi in Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve is closely related to vegetation zones. There isn't any dominant species in the six vegetation zones, endemic species and DOM are also different in six vegetation zones. The highest DOM of Alpine scrub is Ac.Scrobiculataand Scu.calospora.The highest DOM of deciduous broad-leaved forest is Ac.scrobiculata.The highest DOM of Evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest is Fu.Badium.The highest DOM of evergreen broad-leaf forest is Ac.mellea.The highest DOMof Coniferous forest is G.flavisporum.The highest DOM of Bamboo forest is G.deserticola.There are endemic species in different vegetation zones.G.melanosporum,Scl.clavispora,Gi.gigantea and Se.constrictum are the endemic species in Alpine scrub.Gi.albida is the endemic species in deciduous broad-leaved forest.G.dimorphicum,Co.tortuosum,Fu.badium and Rh.aggregatus are the endemic species in Evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forestvegetation.G.multicaule and G.cconvolutum are the endemic species in evergreen broad-leaf forest.G.canadense,G.flavisporum,G.microaggregatum,G.versiforme and Di.Arenaria are the endemic species in Coniferous forest.Scl.Taiwanensis and Scl.liquidambaris are the endemic species in Bamboo forest. The results will answer two questions,First the diversity of AM fungal species in Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve,Second the characteristics of AM fungal species community in different vegetation zones. The results will fill the gap in the study of AM fungi species diversity in Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve and expand the geographical distribution pattern of AM fungi species in China.
