Flora refers to the sum of all plant species in a certain time and space.Studying the flora of a certain area can understand the origin and evolution process of the local plant kingdom,and provide a data basis for plant introduction,domestication and biodiversity conservation.Baise City is located in the west of Guangxi and has abundant wetland resources.In the past,in the process of studying higher plants in Guangxi wetland,there was no systematic combing and analysis of the high-wet wetland plant resources of Baise.Based on the analysis of research literature and data,this paper combines field investigations.The species composition,floristic characteristics and wetland plant resources of vascular plants in Baise wetland were analyzed and relevant suggestions were put forward.The aim is to provide a theoretical basis for the rational development and protection management of Baise Wetland and even Guangxi Wetland.The main results are as follows:1.Composition of species: the vascular plants are abundant species in wetlands of Baise,there are 371 species belong to 205 genera in 83 families,in which,20 species of pteridophyte belong to 12 genera in 12 families;4 species of gymnosperm belong to 3 genera in 2 families;24 families,77 genera and 140 species of monocotyledon;45 families,112 genera and 207 species of dicotyledon.Among these,there are 78 families,188 genera and 339 species of wild seed plants,21 families,28 genera and 32 culture species and exotic species.Herbage plant is the dominant life forms,accounting for 332 species,89.49% of the total,8 species of arbor(2.16%)and 31 species of shrub(8.36%).In composition of ecological types,there are 16 kinds of amphiphyte(4.31%),171 hygrophyte(46.09%),91 half-hygrophyte(24.53%),57 emerged plant(15.36%),9 floating plant(2.43%),6 floating-leaved macrophyte(1.62%)and 21 submerged macrophyte(5.66%).2.Flotistic components: The composition of fern is dominant about widespread distribution,accounted for 58.33% of the total number of ferns.In the level of genus,there are 5 widespread,7 tropical,1 temperate distribution property of genus.The wild seed plants are abundant,in the level of family,the distribution pattern of wild spread is predominant,followed by tropical distribution,the third is temperate distribution,accounted for 56.06%,30.30% and 13.64% respectively.In the level of genus,the distribution pattern of tropical distribution is predominant,followed by wild spread,the third is temperate distribution,accounted for 50.86%,24.00% and 24.00% respectively,and there are two Chinese endemic genera,Kinostemon and Gymnotheca.3.Endemism: Endemism is not obvious to the vascular plants in wetlands of Baise.There are only 3 species are endemic to China,including Ceratopteris thalictroides Ottelia acuminata and Cryptocoryne sinensis.There is only 1 specy endemic to Guangxi,which is Ottelia acuminate var.jingxiensis.There is no Chinese endemic families,two Chinese endemic genera,Kinostemon and Gymnotheca.4.Geographical distribution characteristics: The distribution of vascular plant species in wetlands of Baise is relatively uniform.The characteristics of the distribution are reflected that the species of plants are abundant where wetland resources are concentrated and widely distributed,but less in the mountainous counties,and this situation occurred in human productive activity area.5.Rich in plant resources: The resources of wetland vascular plant are rich and resource types are diverse in Baise.A total of 235 resources are available for development and utilization,especially medicinal plants and edible plant resources which often appear in the local specialty of the folk medicine market and daily life.
