Research On Green Innovation Efficiency Of Wanjiang City Belt

The traditional development model has driven the rapid development of the economy and society,but it has brought about a double pressure on the increasingly limited resource and polluted environment.On the other hand,innovation has become the decisive factor for the current sustained and steady economic growth.The green innovation which combines green ideas with innovative technologies can improve the efficiency of resource and energy use,optimize resource allocation,continuously improve the boundaries of production possibilities,and expand the space for human development.As the leader of economic and social development in Anhui Province,the Wanjiang City Belt should achieve green growth,innovated development,and build ecological civilization while undertaking transfer and upgrading.This has become the consensus of the decision-making departments of the central and local governments.Studying the green innovation efficiency and its related influencing factors of Wanjiang City Belt is of great significance,because it can help this area achieve strategic objectives of innovated industrial upgrading and ecological civilization construction.Through learning the relevant theoretical literatures at home and abroad,this paper summarizes and refines the concept of green innovation and green innovation efficiency.On the basis of previous studies,this paper establishes an evaluation index system for green innovation efficiency in the city.In terms of research methods,this paper adopts the SBM-DEA model considering the undesired output,and the NNDDF-GML index comprehensively measures the green innovation efficiency and it's driving forces from the perspective of static section and dynamic time series,then compares them with Anhui average.On this basis,the panel Tobit model is established to analyze the influencing factors of the green innovation efficiency of Wanjiang City Belt.The empirical results show that:(1)The green innovation efficiency of cities in the Wanjiang City Belt is quite different,and some cities have poor technical efficiency and scale efficiency performance.(2)There is a phenomenon of fluctuations in technological efficiency and technological progress in this area.Moreover,the total factor productivity of green innovation fluctuated greatly in each year.(3)The green innovation efficiency of the Wanjiang City Belt was better than the average level of Anhui Province,but the progress of green innovation total factor productivity was lower than the provincial average,the demonstration role about green innovation and ecological civilization construction needs to be strengthened.(4)Economic development,infrastructure construction,government's support about education and science have a significant positive effect,but industrial output value and foreign investment have a significant negative effect.
