In recent years, with the advancement of information technology and the reduction of communication and coordination costs, the increasing popularity of international vertical specialization has made the international division of labor penetrate into all aspects of product production. Each country(region)only conducts at a specific stage of commodity production.Specialized production, which greatly changes the distribution of the global value chain, this situation is most evident in the high-tech industry. To understand the distribution of China's high-tech industries in the global value chain, the core and basic problem is to measure the export value of China's high-tech industries. In view of this, this study draws on Koopman and Wang's vertical specialization rate improvement model, and uses the world input-output table to measure the export value of China's high-tech industry, and on this basis, gives suggestions for the development of China's high-tech industry.First of all, this paper lays a foundation for the following research on the three major directions of the study of the status of international vertical specialization, namely, vertical specialization, domestic value-added,and technical complexity of export products.Secondly, through the definition of the high-tech industry at home and abroad and related definitions, the high-tech industry to be studied in the article is determined. At the same time, the high-tech industry's operating income, the number of enterprises and other relevant indicators are used to analyze the development of China's high-tech industry.Thirdly, based on the world input-output database(WIOD)and the analysis framework of Koopman and Wang's improvement of the model of vertical specialization rate, that is,the foreign value-added measurement model of a country's export, the export value-added of China's high-tech industry was calculated and analyzed from 2000 to2014.The empirical results show that the sources of export value-added of China's high-tech industries are diversified and the ability to withstand risk is improved. When China's high-tech industry subdivision industry participates in the vertical specialization, the country source of its export value-added is basically in line with the comparative advantages of each economy, but there are industry differences.New industrialeconomies and other developing countries use their advantages in rapid technological development and geographical location to promote the development of China's high-tech industries to some extent.China's high-tech industry has export competitiveness in some products with the countries of emerging market economy, but at the same time,it also has certain complementarity. Finally, based on the conclusion of the empirical analysis in this paper, according to the estimation of export value-added of China's high-tech industry and its country sources, the author thinks about how China can better participate in the international vertical specialization and the input-output table insufficiency, and puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.
