Compilation And Application Analysis Of Input-output Table Of Marine Economy In Zhejiang Province

Zhejiang is a large province in marine resources,with a coastline of 6,486 kilometers and rich marine resources.In 2017,Zhejiang Province issued the "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of a Strong Marine Province and an International Port",drawing a blueprint for building a strong marine province.However,at this stage,there are some problems in the development of marine economy,such as the slow development of emerging industries,and the weak supporting capabilities of marine scientific research and education.In the existing research,there are few and incomplete researches using input-output methods to analyze the development status of marine economy.In this paper,the stripping coefficient method is used to compile the input-output table of Zhejiang province's Marine economy,and the input-output analysis is conducted from the perspective of industry.These researches enrich the classification of Marine industry and the research from the perspective of Marine economic industry.It is helpful to make reasonable policy for Marine economy of Zhejiang province.The main content is as follows:First of all,this paper expounds the research background and significance,analyzes the research status of Marine economy,and on this basis,chooses input-output method as the main research method.Secondly,it introduces the concept of Marine economy,the classification of Marine industry,the theory of industrial structure and the basic principle of input-output table.Based on "Classification of Marine and related industries" and "Industrial classification for national economic activities",this paper reclassified the input-output table sectors into 13 Marine industry sectors and 19 land industry sectors.And the input-output tables of Zhejiang Province for 1997,2002,2007,2012 and 2017 were compiled by using the stripping coefficient method.Thirdly,according to the data in the input-output table,static and dynamic analysis is conducted on the Marine economy of Zhejiang,including land-sea linkage analysis,pillar industry analysis,initial input analysis,end-use analysis,competitiveness analysis,etc.Finally,based on the research results,this paper draws a conclusion to provide policy Suggestions for the development of Marine economy in Zhejiang Province from the industrial level.As a result of research,the development of Marine industry in Zhejiang depends on the development of manufacturing industry and the development is unbalanced.Each industry is of a different type,and most Marine industries depend on exports and outflow.On the whole,the scale of Marine industry in Zhejiang is relatively small and its competitiveness is weak.In view of this phenomenon,this paper thinks that Marine resources should be fully utilized in Zhejiang.Zhejiang should continue to promote the linkage between land and sea and promote the overall development of land and sea.At the same time,the Marine industrial structure should be adjusted.Zhejiang should develop the strategy of invigorating the sea by science and technology to promote the development of Marine industry.In addition,Zhejiang should train Marine talents to improve the competitiveness of Marine industry from all aspects.
