The Study On The Changes Of Waters Resources Of Environment And The Sustainable Development Of Fishery Livelihood In Beijiang Lilei

Beijiang,the second largest river system in the Pearl River Basin,is one of the most important rivers in Guangdong.The basin is rich in fishery resources and has become the basis for fishermen to survive.In recent years,due to hydropower stations,dredging and pollution,water resources and environmental changes have seriously affected the livelihood of local fishermen.This study visited 8 fishing villages in Shaoguan,Qingyuan,and Foshan,and conducted a household survey for fishermen still living in the fishing villages to find out the livelihood of the fishermen,through the heads of the fishing villages and local The familiar elderly fishermen conducted in-depth interviews to understand the current process of changes in the water resources and environment and the specific causes.This study selected a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,using a sustainable livelihood analysis framework,and in-depth analysis of the fishermen's living conditions,the characteristics of changes in the water environment and the analysis of the impact of changes in water resources and environment on the livelihood of fishermen.This technology proposes Beijiang The strategy of sustainable fishermen's livelihood in the basin.The results show that the amount of fish production and species in the Beijiang River Basin has been greatly reduced,fishermen's income has decreased,and their lives have been difficult.Fishermen tend to age and education is not optimistic;fishermen generally lack social attention and social security;conflicts between fishery and fishermen protection are prominent.Through analysis,this study puts forward that many factors such as the construction of hydropower stations,river dredging,illegal fishing,and wastewater discharge are the main reasons for the decline of fishery resources and the reduction of fishermen's income.To realize the sustainable development of fishermen's livelihood in the Beijiang River Basin,it is necessary to speed up the training for the transfer of employment to work,accelerate the development of the social security system for fishermen's groups,establish an effective mechanism for the protection of Beijiang water resources and ecological protection,build a migration path for hydropower stations,vigorously develop cooperatives for fishermen,and improve fishermen's own Children's education;and based on the current advantages of fishermen to develop industries such as water resources tourism,to fundamentally promote the sustainable development of fishermen's livelihood.
