The total amount of water resources in Northeast China is relatively abund ant,but with the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization,the demand for water resources in Northeast China is increasing.In addition,in the process of water resources utilization,the waste of water resources and the aggravation of pollution lead to the uneven distribution of water resources,serious water pollution and low utilization rate of water resources in Northeast China.Especi ally in areas with dense population and developed industry,thereisaseriousshortag eof water resources.Especially in areas with dense population and developed in dustry,there is a serious shortage of water resources.Based on the scientific connotation of coordinated sustainable developmentand relevant theoretical research,combined with the actual situation of water resources in Northeast China,this paper makes a descriptive analysis of water resources sustainable development from four aspects: water resources system,social development system,economic development system and ecological environment system.and establishes a combination of cluster analysis and factor analysis.By using the method of cluster analysis and factor analysis,this paper establishes a reasonable evaluation system of water resources sustainable development index in Northeast China.Using the improved Critic revised G1 evaluation model and coordinated development index,this paper measures the sustainable development level of water resources in Northeast China from 2007 to 2016.This paper analyses the sustainable development level of water resources in Northeast China from qualitative and quantitative aspects,and provides countermeasures and suggestions for realizing the sustainable development of water resources in Northeast China.
