This paper uses literature review method, image analysis method, index evaluation method and other research methods.Based on the water footprint theory, and in summarizing the method for calculating the virtual water volume of crop units, using data analysis of Anhui Statistical Yearbook 2016,the virtual water content of three primary agricultural product units in Anhui Province in 2015 was obtained.Through the ArcGIS software mapping, the virtual water spatial distribution pattern of rice, wheat and corn was identified. On this basis, the calculation and analysis of the amount of water used for agricultural production, the virtual consumption of water for consumption by agriculture, and the volume of virtual water for agriculture were used to calculate Anhui Province. The 2011-2016 agricultural water footprint analyses the dynamic changes of agricultural water footprint in Anhui Province in the past six years.Based on the establishment of a sustainable agricultural utilization evaluation system, the water footprint of the agricultural water environment in Anhui Province was evaluated. On the basis of constructing an assessment system for the sustainable use of agricultural water footprints, the sustainable use of agricultural water environment in Anhui Province was evaluated. The results show:(1)The total amount of water used in Anhui Province maintains a relatively stable trend. The agricultural water footprint and the output of agricultural virtual water in the region have all increased year by year. Therefore, the agricultural water footprint of Anhui Province is all dependent on the province's water resources, and the outward output is also consistent with the fact that Anhui Province is a large grain-producing province in China.Changes in the water footprint of cities in Anhui Province From the point of view of time changes, the water footprint of each city changes with an increasing trend.(2)Between 2011 and 2016,the overall declining trend of agricultural water resources in Anhui Province showed a declining trend. The overall trend of the declining trend of agricultural water resources in various cities in Anhui Province is also declining. This is directly related to the increasing water resources in Anhui Province. The disparity in the scarcity of agricultural water resources in cities is particularly noticeable. In 2016,the highest level was 152.3% in Huaibei City, and the lowest was4.5% in Huangshan City.In 2011,there were six cities where the lack of agricultural water resources in Anhui Province exceeded 100%.Between 2011 and 2016,there are 10 cities in urban areas with less than 100% agricultural water shortage.(3)The changes in the pressure index of agricultural water resources in Anhui provinces over the past six years are also declining. The average annual value of the entire Anhui Province was 77.9%.There are 9 cities with years of average over 100%.In 2011,Anhui Province had the lowest sustainable use of agricultural water resources in Xuancheng,Tongling,Chizhou, and Huangshan cities.Fuyang had the highest value of 272.5% and Huangshan only 7.1%.In 2016,nine cities were under pressure less than one. There are seven cities that are still unable to use sustainable water resources for sustainable development.
