With the development of China's economy and society,many problems appear in this process,especially the rapid consumption of resources and the sharp deterioration of the environment.In view of the current situation,in order to solve the contradictory relationship between economic development and resources and environment,we should change the current development mode with extensive?high consumption and low efficiency,and turn it into a scientific,low energy consumption and efficient way to balance the development of economy and resources and environment.In order to further understand the development of the resource-saving society in China,this paper makes a comprehensive evaluation and analysis about the resourcesaving society in 30 provinces of China.In this paper,based on the two aspects of resource consumption and conservation,the indicators that can reflect the resourcesaving construction status are selected based on the principle of simplicity.Through combing existing research results,the cross-entropy method is applied for the first time on the basis of existing research.The evaluation of the resource-saving society uses the common comprehensive evaluation method and the cross-entropy method to evaluate the results,and passes the compatibility to verify the rationality of the cross-entropy method.The results show that the situation of the construction of a resource-saving society in 30 provinces across the country presents distinct regional differences.The eastern coastal area as a whole is superior to the central and western regions,and the western region has the most lagging behind in construction;in addition,it is compared through a variety of comprehensive evaluation methods.As well as the compatibility test,the cross entropy method is relatively good and representative in comparison with other methods used in the resource-saving society.
