Analysis Of The Influence Of Rural Public Products Supply On Farmers’ Income

Since 1978,agricultural production has been greatly improved in both scale and quality,and the life of rural residents continues to improve.In the period of 39 years(1978-2016),the per capita net income of rural residents in China has expanded to 12363 yuan,which has increased by 91.5 times.It shows that remarkable achievements of the construction of a new socialist countryside.The "three rural issues" is a major problem which must be highly valued and seriously solved in the process of modernization.It is the most important task of all.However,under the situation of “urban-rural dual structure”,the countryside is far behind the city in both economic development and public construction.In this subject,from the perspective of the supply of rural public products,I plan to explore the ways of increasing farmers’ income.Rural infrastructure,compulsory education,health care,and social security have an impact on the income of farmers through income and substitution effects.On the one hand,they can increase the farmers’ ability to obtain agricultural and non-agricultural incomes.On the other hand,they can reduce the expenditure of farmers.To increase persuasiveness,this subject takes Chongqing as an example,econometric method was used to empirically analyze the relationship between rural public product supply and farmers’ income in Chongqing.The results show that the investment in rural infrastructure and compulsory education,as well as health care,has a positive correlation with the per capita net income of farmers.Increasing the investment in rural infrastructure,compulsory education,and health care can increase the income of farmers.but the rural social relief costs did not have a significant impact on farmers’ income.The effects of different types of public products are different.Based on the above analysis,this subject put forward the feasibility proposal from the rural public goods supply mechanism,the supply subject and supply efficiency and so on,in order to improve the supply of public goods in rural areas to achieve a sustained and steady growth of farmers’ income.
