Although China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the problem of inadequate development imbalance is still prominent, and the income gap is still relatively large. It is precisely because the excessive income gap not only affects economic development, but also brings a series of social problems. Therefore,General Secretary Xi Jinping explicitly pointed out in the report of the "19th National Congress" : "Implement the government's redistributive regulation function, accelerate the equalization of basic public services, and narrow the income distribution gap." Based on this,in order to adapt to the needs of social and economic development under the new situation in China, deepen the reform of the labor mobility system and mechanisms, and use this as an important channel to reduce the income gap, which has become the focus of research on development economics and regional economics. In this paper, the effect of the effect of labor mobility on the education and regional economic development is the main line of influence on the income gap.Firstly,it introduces the status quo of income gap, labor mobility and education development, and establishes conditional quantile regression and unconditional quantile regression model based on Mincer's human capital equation. Then, using CLDS 2012 and CLDS 2014 survey data,we will focus on the role of education, regional economic development, and labor mobility for different income groups. Then,it is decomposed on the basis of the unconditional quantile regression model to analyze the effects of education and regional economic development on the income gap under the regulation of labor mobility. The research results show that from 2011 to 2013,under the influence of various factors, the overall income gap in China tends to expand, but the effect of different factors on the income gap is not exactly the same.Judging from the effect of education on the income gap,the structural effects of education will increase the income gap,and the reward effect of education will narrow the income gap.The effect of the former is less than that of the latter;after taking into account the moderating effect of labor mobility on education,The structural and reward effects of education are simultaneously manifested in narrowing the income gap. From the point of view of the effect of regional economy on income inequality, when the effect of labor mobility on the adjustment of regional economy is not taken into consideration, the income gap is also enlarged in the structural effect, and the income gap is narrowed in the effect of remuneration, but the superposition of the two effects. It will have an uncertain impact on the income gap;after considering the role of labor mobility in regulating the regional economy, its structural effect is still widening the income gap,and the reward effect is still narrowing the income gap,but the reduction effect of the reward effect is stronger than The large effect of structural effects eventually led to the overall effect of reducing the income gap.In view of the research results, this paper believes that the government should further ease the flow of labor and remove the obstacles to the flow of labor by gradually alleviating the current widening income gap in China;gradually realize the universalization of “12-year compulsory education”;and coordinate the development of a more efficient and balanced regional economy.
