Study On Market Competency Of Nuclear Power Plant Industry Under Low-carbon Backdrop

Since long time before,fossil fuels have made up the main part in energy structure,which has consumed the precious fossil fuels which took ten thousand years to form.The fossil fuels not only cause serious environmental pollution and other ecological issues,but also impede the sustainable development of mankind society.With the continuous progress of science and technology,people have been making more and more research on new energy such as nuclear power,wind power,water power and so on.As one of the electricity generating technology of new energy,nuclear power is clean,efficient and environmental friendly.It develops rapidly with mature technologies which is also upgrading day by day.As developing countries constantly expanding their nuclear power market,the unique industry is attracting more and more attention.Taking a general look into China’s nuclear power plant construction industry,it develops rapidly these years from nothing to a whole complete industry chain,the equipment manufactures and capacity ranking high in the world.It is urgent and necessary to analyze the international and domestic competitiveness and influencing factors which gives important real-life value in application.By making industry and individual analysis,the paper intends to find out some approaches to improve the competitiveness.The analysis on the current situation of China’s nuclear power plant building industry is crucial to enhance its own market competency and is practical to the economic development and national strategy.First,the paper introduces the basic theories and analytical model and concepts of competitiveness.Then,it describes the history and status quo of building nuclear power plants home and abroad with a conclusion of features and resources in China.Given that basis,in this paper,diamond model is used to make analysis on the industry competitiveness in building nuclear power plant.The paper takes the example of CNECC,the largest nuclear power plant construction company,to elicit problems by analyzing its core competitiveness.Finally,the paper proposes some thoughts and suggestions from different levels to promote the construction of nuclear power plant in order to help develop the business safe and sound.
