In the knowledge economy times,performance management as a important management method provides significant driving force for enterprise strategy realizing,employee performance improving,talent cultivating and retaining,as well as business operation supporting.As for construction company,engineering project is the key source of output and profit.It has become a key issue for each company manager that how to improve the skill of delicacy management and company benefit by carrying out performance management.Because of the special quality and nuclear safety requirements in nuclear power plant construction,nuclear engineering companies are all traditional state-owned enterprise,which HR management concept and performance management system are relatively lagging behind.Therefore in the new period,in order to strive for success in the fierce competition of nuclear construction,it is especially urgent to improve nuclear civil construction project performance management,develop project management ability and economic benefits,and utilize the strategic effort of HR.EQ company,a large-scale construction company in nuclear power system,owing to its industry background,undertook half the NI civil project in China successively,which made it enjoys a high reputation and typical representativeness in the industry.With the intensifying competition in this filed,EQ has realized the importance of performance management and actively promoted it in their project.However,as a traditional stated-own company,its long-lasting intrinsically rigid HR management idea makes it difficult to play as a positive stimulus in actual practice and hardly meet the requirements of project management.Taking EQ company,which the writer works in,as the example,this article starts from the.developing stage of nuclear power project,introduces the evolution process of nuclear power project management modes,and states the HR performance management's important role in the project delicacy management.Then,this article analyzes the current performance situation of nuclear power project and indicates the existing problems by collecting the available performance documents of nuclear power project and adapting the method of combining theory and practice.In the end,it analyzes the inner characteristic,actual management procedure and manager structure to point out the optimized idea of nuclear power project performance management and establish the performance management system,which comprehensively utilizes the tools of target management,balanced score card and key performance indicators.This article is expected to establish a scientific logical NI civil project performance system by applying the performance management tool,and help EQ better adapt to nuclear power market environment and project management style changes.Meanwhile,hopefully it will provide some reference and help in regard of project performance management mode optimization for other companies in this industry.
