A Research On Materials Supplying Management Of Nuclear Power Project Of Company A

Nuclear power projects need large investment, long construction periods, high quality of materials for construction and plenty varieties of materials. How to keep a guaranteed supply orderly under controllable coats becomes important and difficult in project management. It is urgent need to study the material supply management, because company A participated in several nuclear projects during the same period, and then faced problems like insufficient supply, overstock and so on.This paper focused on the materials for nuclear power project of company A, analyzes the characteristics of nuclear power plant construction and management of nuclear power stations, depends on modern information technology and modern techniques in logistics management to optimize the material supply system, and integrate to establish a management department for nuclear material, a coding management system, a virtual inventory management system. According to the characteristics of different nuclear reactor types, to establish WBS, correlate the supply and the schedule plan with work package and establish corresponding relationships. To grasp the situations timely, consider the adjustment of the project schedule plan, realize the dynamic management, and establish a material supply management information system that meets nuclear power project quality criteria, costs control, requirements for progress control. The research is significant to raise efficiency of managerial staffs, reduce inventories reasonably, guarantee the material supply and control project costs effectively.
