"Employee engagement" is a new concept in recent years in the research field of organizational behavior.Although the research is still at the beginning stage,affected by the practice fields especially service industry management practice of strong demand,its application has been developed in the global scope.Employee engagement refers to employees is a kind of devotion and commitment in emotion and knowledge for the enterprise.So engagement is considered a toll which can be able to predict future performance as the enterprise growth.It is an urgent and arduous task for YQ Bus Company to improve employee engagement and to realize the strategy of "public service".YQ Bus Company as Guangzhou's oldest and most traditional culture in the management of public enterprises,in the modern business management,the old and new business ideas and thoughts are mixed and gamed,due to the characteristics of industry and occupation,the drivers' turnover rate is very high,resulting in serious shortage of personnel and directly affects the sustainable development of enterprises and industries and public service level.Especially the public transportation enterprise is a labor-intensive traditional industries,people are the main productive forces,so the transportation services provided by enterprises to a certain extent depends on the management,incentive,assessment and constraints to achieve.On the basis of the related concept and theory of employee engagement,a widespread research was carried out on employee engagement with the drivers from YQ Bus Company as the study subjects.According to the survey results,make an analysis to the level of driver employee engagement in YQ Bus Company and the relevant issues which influence employee engagement level,help enterprises understand the current situation of employee engagement and problems exist in daily enterprises' management.In this paper,the main research methods are literature research and questionnaire survey.This research is lay a solid theoretical foundation by looking up literature and related work,to understand the literature of engagement theory research at home and abroad.This study provides a theoretical basis and foundation for the traditional public enterprise restructuring transformation of enterprise ownership structure to improve employee engagement,the enrichment and development of an empirical study on employee engagement theory within same industry and enterprises,make bus industry engagement theory system more perfect.Through this study,to a certain extent for the bus in how to improve the comprehensive quality of the industry,improve service levels,reduce safety accidents,enhanced driver's well-being and identity and engagement level has a positive theoretical and reference significance.
