Employee engagement is very important for the business,which will affect organization performance.The behavior of highly engaged employee will have a significant positive impact on organization key performance index such as productivity and performance delivery,customer satisfaction,employee retention,health and safety,income growth.Employee engagement has become a driving force for sustainable developmental profit organization.However,in the global context,China’s engagement index is not optimistic,far below the European developed countries,but also lower than Asian neighbors.Therefore,how to improve employee engagement has become the hot topic in China.Based on the well-known owned enterprise in China manufacturing factory-S company as the case study,introduce the whole process of S company employee engagement project,show the highlights of S company in carrying out the engagement project:the combination of corporate culture and leadership model for self-questionnaire design,diversified channels for project communication,use e-platform to enhance employee response rate and accurate data analysis,full sharing of research results to all employee by workshop to listen to employee voice and real aspirations,let employee become participants and promoters of the continuous improvement action plan in the organization.S company employee engagement project not only allows managers to listen to employee voice,but also gives them the opportunity to better understand the needs of their employee and how they feel about working in the company.The response in the survey will open the eyes to the organizational strengths,weaknesses and opportunities for improving the organization’s working environment.Through the survey investigation and Analysis,it found that the main influencing factors of S company engagement focused on company culture,employee development and leadership of the three dimensions from the organizational level,through the development of targeted improvement measures such as build a common company vision,enhance leadership,take care for employee career development to improve employee engagement to maximize individual and team performance,achieve to reach win-win results of the company、employee、customers and stakeholders. |
