Outstanding human resources are one the most important competitive advantageof the company. Nowadays, how to improve employee engagement to increasecompany performance is becoming one of the most popular topics. To supportcompany’s further development, many medium sized or huge companies are setting upimprovement measures according to employee engagement survey results and put thisas company management plan with timely review and check to improve managementprocedure.The results of China employee engagement of FD company, the sample of thisthesis are on yearly drop down and with quick speed. FD, as an international autocompany which invested in China earlier than others competitors has normalperformance and relative low market share, eg3%in China market, this is notconsistent with the international status. How to change the situation in China marketand how to increase the performance in China had gotten the attention of FD seniormanagement team. To support to realize company strategy, speed up the developmentand improve current status, FD company has put how to improve employeeengagement as the most urgent and important issue to resolve.To know current employee engagement results of FD China, an employeeengagement survey questionnaire including four dimensions like employee satisfaction,future development, global skills and motivated team are designed on the basis of Q12model of Gallup and seven elements of how to improve employee engagement ofHewitt with combination of current status of FD auto company. Analysis the resultsafter getting the data, reveal the change reason or elements of engagement get thelinkage of drop down of employee engagement and management issue and providerealistic suggestions to improve employee engagement. Through this research, wecome to a conclusion that employee engagement are correlate with many aspects, ifwe want to improve employee engagement, we should take some actions likeconfirm company strategy and positioning, speed up with localization, decision makingand information sharing, emphasis the importance and focus on training and careerdevelopment, set up reasonable motivation and performance systems and humanityculture to improve employee engagement and reach company targets and goal。The outcome and suggestions of this research can be used as a guideline or reference forFD management team to improve employee engagement, increase companyperformance and management skills. It is practical.
