As global economy slows down and energy prices continue to decline,the sustainable development of human resources has become the key for energy companies to achieve strategic transformation and sustainable development.For professionals who use knowledge as a living tool,it is especially important to continually update the content of knowledge,to enlarge the range of knowledge,and to improve the ability of applying new technologies,and the main route to enhance their learning ability is staff training.Strengthening the training of professionals can,on the one hand,increase the core competence of a company;on the other hand,it also unifies professionals' personal development goals and the company's goals of strategic development,helps meet the needs of professionals' personal development,arouses their enthusiasm at work,and enhances group cohesion in the company.The investigation and analysis in the present study are conducted through field visits,questionnaires,literature review,as well as induction and comparison.Guided by Hierarchy of Needs Theory and Training Evaluation Theory,the author uses professionals from Company J as participants to investigate their training situation and the overall status quo of staff training in this company.With the methodology of qualitative and quantitative analyses,the study aims at analyzing the problems in the current staff training of Company J,more precisely,using the Kirkpatrick Model to evaluate the training of the workers,technical directors and team leaders at the construction sites and the project managers in the company,identifying the prominent problems in the training of the professionals,and giving advices to improve.The research is of great significance in reinforcing the training of professionals in company J,enhancing skills of its workers and improving the quality of constructional engineering.
