With the development of China automobile industry,the market in which there are lots of the coming opportunities is more prosperous than ever before.Eevry automobile enterprise is continuously launching new products to increase the market share so that they could dominate the market.In addition,the customer's demand is changing and upgrading but the time of iteration becomes shorter.It is almost possible to be competitive for those companies which mainly focus on some industries such as manufacturing in the chaning market.There is no denying the fact that the research and development capability has become a core competence for any automobile enterprise.A high-efficiency process of research and development which serves as a carrier is essential that the work can be finished smoothly.This paper discusses how to optimize the process in order to increase the efficiency of research and development through the scientific method in the new situation.Firstly,this paper takes QY Company as an example,deeply analysises the current process and finds out issues using a series of theories including lean product development system,concurrent engineering,stage-gate system and business process reengineering.Secondly,an improvement scheme is proposed accordingly.Finally,the paper discusses the detailed analysis and evaluation of the scheme and also introduces some measures which ensure that the optimization could be implemented successfully.The issues of the current process are the high cost,the long cycle,the lack of risk management and the deficiency of knowledge management.This paper analysises the current process of QY Company with the method of IDEF0 which is used for process-decomposition and then points out a solution for improvement.The development cycle is greatly shortened by adjusting the process from serial to parallel.The target cost management is adopted to achieve the goal of cost reduction during the development process.A control approach is put forwrod to reduce the risk of development and some separate steps are added to promote knowledge management as well...
