Every organization consists of a series of related processes,and the dependency of related process and the elements underneath becomes stronger and stronger along with the development of management practice.Due to the fact that process becomes important resources of organization,the necessity and urgency of an effective tool to answer the difficult questions encountered in the process improvement pops up,i.e.how to locate the area and elements necessary to change;how to identify the relativity of the improvement target and activities;how to define the priority and sequences of improvement activities etc.Business process management maturity model is the right tool to define phase as well as status that the existing processes in and are.And in the meanwhile,the model helps identify management weakness as well as opportunities,which provides directions and framework for further improvements.Through introduction of maturity assessment on PNMS(Philips Neusoft Medical System Co.ltd.PNMS)Service Support process as well as improvement practice with PEMM model in 3 phases,initial preparation,evaluation and improvement,the article tries to summarize all difficulties and the thoughts resulted and provide solution or direction for reference.
