Survey And Analysis Of China's Archives Volunteer Service

Since the founding of China,China's archives has made great progress and provided many aspects of the archives service for the public.However,facing the higher service requirements,how to provide a satisfactory archival service for the public has become the goal of the archival departments.Referring to the great contribution of archival volunteer service abroad to improve the service quality of archival departments,China should also carry out archival volunteer service activities according to China's true conditions.This paper first briefly summarizes the characteristics,development and functions of archival volunteer service,and archival volunteer service has the function of expanding the publicity surface of archives,improving the quality of archival service and enhancing interdisciplinary communication.And then,investigation and analysis of the necessity and feasibility of carrying out the archival volunteer service in our country were made,The research is divided into two parts,the first part of the research is for the public,mainly about whether the public is willing to participate in the archival volunteer service,and what they can do for the archival volunteer service.This part demonstrated the feasibility of carrying out the archival volunteer service.The second part is the research for the archival department.It demonstrated the necessity of archival volunteer service through the analysis of the workload size of the archival department,whether the archival department needs volunteers,and the satisfied degree of the archival department to the previous archival volunteer.Finally,based on the characteristics of the archival voluntary service activities,the protection of the rights and interests for the archival volunteers is put forward from the aspects of policies and regulations,incentive mechanism and fund system.
