Britain Social Power Involved In Archival Volunteer Service And Its Enlightenment

Carrying out Archives volunteer service contributes to constructing the archival public cultural service system,establishing regulatory archival volunteer organization and alleviating the pressure of archival work.Britain is the earliest country to develop archival volunteer service and has accumulated rich experience after years of development.According to the social power——the public and social organization,this thesis introduced the origin and form of Britain archival volunteer service,including the way,aim,environment,road and job content of the public participate in.As well as including the member management system,source of income,financial management expenditure,participation National Archives projects,organization activities and publication magazines of the Friends of the National Archives participate in.On this foundation,this thesis summed the Britain social power involving the archival volunteer service measures: the perfect policy system,social cross-border cooperation,adequate personnel management,diversified sources of service,full use of network technology and project management of volunteer service.And the problems existed in the Britain social power involving the archives volunteer service: the time and manpower consuming of the construction of personnel management;the quality of volunteer work is difficult to guarantee;the polarization of volunteer service groups and the resistance of the employees in the archival department.At the same time,this thesis summed three development phases of the archival volunteer service in China.By referring to the British experience and combining our national conditions,this thesis proposed the development path of our country's archival volunteer service: the government transforms function to promote the development of archival volunteer service,the social power participates and assists the relevant work of archival department,the archival department transforms sense to exert its own subjective initiative.
