Research On The Construction Of Smart Libraries Based On Internet Of Things Technology

From 1999,Professor Kevin Ashton of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT)proposed the concept of the Internet of Things for the first time.Then in 2008,IBM Corporation proposed the "Smart Earth" strategic plan.The goal is to achieve global resource sharing and sharing.In August 2009,the speech of former Premier Wen Jiabao's "Perceiving China" pushed the research and application development of China's Internet of Things to a climax.Since Premier Wen Jiabao proposed "Perception of China," the Internet of Things was formally listed as one of the country's five most important emerging strategic industries.It has been included in the "Government Work Report." The Internet of Things has received great attention from the entire society in China.Up to now,the Internet of Things technology has been promoted in various fields in China.Digitalization,networking,and intelligence have become the major trends in social development.Related information technologies such as the Internet of Things and cloud computing have also become the focus of China's strategic development.Taking the opportunity of the development of smart cities,the library community in China began researching and exploring smart libraries to promote the transformation and upgrading of the service format of the library.The wisdom library provides the wisdom service,which is a necessary trend for the development of the library.It relies on the Internet of Things technology such as global positioning system,radio frequency identification,and sensing equipment to realize the interconnection of readers and books,and to provide users with a full range of reader services.At present,China does not have a truly comprehensive and intelligent library.The construction of a smart library is still at an exploratory stage.This article is roughly divided into five parts: the first chapter background overview part,the background,significance and domestic and foreign research status of theresearch on the construction of the smart library;Chapter II Internet of Things technology introduction,the definition of the Internet of Things technology,basic characteristics Basic framework and basic applications;Chapter 3 combines the hierarchical model and technical foundation of the Smart Library,and puts forward the principles and specific contents of the Smart Library construction;Chapter 4 Problems and Countermeasures,analyzing the current existence of the current construction of the Smart Library in China And propose specific solutions to existing problems.Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the research results obtained in this paper and the existing deficiencies,and looks forward to the next step of the study.
