"Internet Of Things" In Public Library Management Study

Since the concept of the internet of things is put forward in 1999, our nation has paid more attention to this technology. The internet of things is based on computer network, making use of RFID, wireless data communication and the computer technology, etc. to construct an internet of real things which can cover everything in the world and realize intelligent identification and management, so as to improve the utilization of resource and work efficiency.The public library plays an important role in the Information Age. Majority of the public library management remains the traditional barcode and magnetic identification which is a time-consuming and inefficient process. However, we can use the technology of the internet of things to optimize and integrate library resources and management in order to realize automatic, networking and digital library management. It also can achieve intellectualization of books management and greatly enhance the core competitiveness of the library so as to reach the function of flexible service.The application of internet of things can realize scientific and accurate management of books, including the sorting process, automatic track, data collection for books'borrowing and changing,and the flowing of staff etc,. With personalized service for readers, it can provide the service of borrowing or reading books and make the information of the library rapid and accurate, which can meet the demand of readers of each level.The dissertation's theory is to use radio frequency identification (RFID) to realize automatic identification of borrowing books, information sharing and interconnection by the analysis of technology of the internet of things. It also proposes the implementation of public library RFID overall design principle, structure and function modules, aiming to improve the public library's work efficiency, and reflecting the major changes of library management by applying the technology of internet of things.Applying the most advanced technology of this century to the management of public libraries is our exploration in the professional management field of public library. This research will provide sustainable innovation of library service mode of our nation, which has important practical value.The public library is part of Chinese public business management. Realizing the public library's automation, networking and digital management can enhance the government's public management and public service's quality. Therefore, the content of the research is very important for our public library modernization management. Content of the paper mainly includes five parts:●The first part mainly explains the background, aim and relevant concepts of research, introducing the research methods and routes.●The second part proposes the existing problems and reasons of the intelligent management in the present situation of public library by the analysis of basic situation of public library and information technology, and solve suggestions.●The third part analyses the working principle of RFID, system composition, communication protocol by the application of this technology to use the RFID to achieve the intelligent management goals.●The fourth part:design RFID framework and the function of modules, and determine the RFID plan of public library by the analysis of the RFID system,●The fifth part:design the RFID literacy system, RFID self-service system of borrowing and returning books, RFID preventing collision of signal and RFID access function of public library.
