This paper takes “Media-system dependency theory” put forward by American communication experts-BallRokeach and DeFleur as the research framework and analysis. Regarding the youth subculture as the perspective and analysis window, it focuses on mobile social media dependency of college students through the method of literature research, questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews, discusses and analyzes factual representation and theoretical similarities of mobile social media dependency of college students.Studies have shown that as the college students in main body of the youth subculture, they reveal more closeness and immersion under the dependence of mobile social media, social demands increasingly reflect the complex, dynamic,falsity and entertainment features, even present morbid and abnormal non-benign dependence performance. Rooted in the field of youth subculture, there are many causes behind mobile social media dependency of college students. From the point of the subculture, mobile social media dependency of college students relies on youth subculture groups' pursuit of identity reconstruction and role identity based on the individual level, "personal resistance" and eagerness of equal right of speech based on the cultural level, consumption dependence based on the economic level.This article continues to focus on existing problems of mobile social media dependency of college students, analyzes alienation influence exerted on the youth audience subject, the media system as well as social and cultural system, and attempts to put forward right ways from three aspects; On the one hand, it hopes to improve the general phenomena of mobile social media dependency of youth audience represented by college students, positively guides the reasonable media using manner and the good media literacy; On the other hand, it hopes to weaken media dependency's negative influence to youth subculture through correction, adjust positive and innovative social and cultural role of youth subculture.
