A Study Of Network"Sang Culture"from The Perspective Of Youth Subculture

In recent years,"sang culture" represented by "Ge youlie" has become popular on the Internet and social platforms,which has aroused great concern from academia and public opinion.Network "sang culture" is not only a youth subculture phenomenon,but also reflects the social reality and the deep structure of individual emotion.As a media mirror image of youth subculture in the new media era,behind its popularity,it deeply reflects the survival appearance and interest demand of contemporary youth,which is an important direction of social mentality of youth groups in the context of social transformation.Based on the youth subculture theory of Birmingham School,this paper studies the Internet "sang culture" through participatory observation,text analysis and in-depth interviews.Combined with the social context of China in the transition period,this paper discusses the reasons for the prevalence of "sang culture" and its style construction,as well as the relationship between "sang culture" and the resistance and collection of mainstream culture,and reflects on the values reflected behind it.This paper holds that the popularity of "sang culture" is closely related to the specific Chinese social context,the innovation of media technology and the development of social media,the "self stigmatization" of youth groups and the prevalence of consumerism.The style of "sang culture" mainly through the irony and misappropriation of the mainstream "chicken soup" discourse,the symbols of powerless,decadent and numb expression packs,and the construction of "Buddha system" life style of "low desire",so as to realize the moderate resistance to the mainstream culture,as well as the "imaginative solution" to the spear shield of social class and the realistic dilemma.Its essential feature is the contradiction of "external loss and internal combustion".This paper points out that bereavement culture accumulates identity and subculture capital by means of banter resistance,the operation mechanism of interest gathering and purport manifesting is reflected behind it."Sang culture" will not disappear in a short period of time,but it is also bound to be incorporated by mainstream ideology and commerce.We don't know how it will develop in the future.But the young people's inner direction,wide spread of social mediaand the infiltration of commercial capital make the "sang culture" more concerned in the current impact and future trend.In addition,the potential value nihilism,modern cynicism and narcissism also need our reflection and vigilance.
