Game reality show as the most popular TV program type,by virtue of its innovative program form to win the majority of the audience's praise,but the introduction of foreign copyright creation background also attracted the enthusiastic discussion of relevant scholars.The "Running Man","Great Challenge" and other games as the main research object in this article,and the "localization" as a starting point of this paper.Through the comparison with the original television program,the author will actively explore and study the essence and the regulation in the development of the Chinese game reality show,and make an in-depth study on many core issues,for example,the reason of the Game reality show to localize,how to localize and so on.So the author hopes that this paper can provide useful suggestions for the sustainable development of the game reality show.The first part of this article mainly elucidates the conception of the "game reality show".By reading the relevant theoretical monographs to strengthen the understanding of the game and reality show,and the author will through the combination of theory and specific programs to give a definition for the concept of the game reality show,and put forward the object of this paper and its characteristic,and put forward the problems of the game reality show;Through the comparison of Chinese and foreign market demand,social environment and cultural differences,the second part will focus on the motivation of the game reality that why it selected to localize;The content of the third chapter,the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter makes up the third part,and it is the emphasis of the paper.The author will analyze the localization of the game reality show from the program content,mode of operation,value orientation,and excavate the innovative point.The author thinks,the content of the game reality show is the specific training performance in the localization,and the game creativity,guest image and program packaging are all different from the original form,so that it can form its unique style.And the fourth chapter of the paper discusses the localization in the mode of operation,and its performance shows the progress and development of the Chinese production team,for that they continue to strengthen their innovation capability when they accept the advanced concept from foreign production,and inject vitality and energy for program production in china incessantly.The fifth chapter analyzes the localization of the game reality show in the value orientation.Because of the television as the mainstream media to spread information in china,the game reality show must have to bear its sense of social responsibility and play its value to lead the function actively,in order to spread the mainstream value,fit the audience's aesthetic psychology,adhere to the correct style of taste and promote the social positive energy;On the basis of the performance in the localization,the last part of the paper focuses on the problems that produced in the development of the localization,the author will start a much deeper research to find a plan that can promote the "China model" of the game reality show,and extract the "Chinese experience" from it,and then we can establish an innovative and new theory for the game reality show.At the last,we can improve the original ability and competitiveness of our reality show,expand its influence and participate in global media competition actively,enhance the culture soft power of China.
