"Dahe Daily" Zhengzhou City Image Communication Research

Zhengzhou is the important central city of Central China, also a major integrated transport hub of China?Nowadays, the development of Zhengzhou has been standing in a new strategic starting point. The city has been initially established its urban development direction with "the central city of this country characterized by international and modern three-dimensional integrated transport hub". Therefore, in accordance with this direction, it is an important aspect of city construction to build and spread Zhengzhou's city image.?Dahe Daily? is the most brand-valuable and influential metropolis paper in Zhengzhou, even in the whole Henan Province. Its circulation and readership coverage is at the top list of Zhengzhou and it plays an important role in building and spreading Zhengzhou's city image.With its daily report and information, ?Dahe Daily? is not only the platform for building and spreading the city's image by examining the news and guiding people's opinion, but also consists of many functions as giving the city image building social status, monitoring the environment in order to give feedback to the city image's building progress, setting the city image issues, contacting departments to promote problem's solving, enhancing the image of the city, and cultivating contents to spread the good image of the city.However, due to its own system and reporting methods, ?Dahe Daily? also has shortcomings in the process of building and spreading Zhengzhou's city image, such as not-outstanding transport issues, single source of information and rarely interaction with readers. Therefore, the paper will give some methods to solve these relative problems from the aspect of strengthening of news planning and improving the quality of the report so that it can be better to enhance the quality of the report and to make contributions to build a good image of the city.This paper can be divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction to describe the topic's origin and its research significance, the reasons to choose the ?Dahe Daily? and its research methods. And meanwhile the domestic and foreign research statuses are reviewed in this paper. In the second part, this paper selects the most representative reports of the transport building "international and modern three-dimensional integrated transport hub" city image positioning,such as the report of ?Dahe Daily? in 2015 which is about Zhengzhou's city transport building, from the aspects of the overall report, the report content, the sources of report, report forms and reports tend to analysis the topic. The third part of this paper is mainly about the role and function of?Dahe Daily? in the building and spreading of the city image. The fourth part of this paper is mainly about the shortcomings of ?Dahe Daily? in related reports of city image by analyzing reports and data. To conquer the shortcomings of ?Dahe Daily?, from the media's own construction, the five part give some suggestions for its report forms in order to enhance its spreading efficiency. So that Zhengzhou's city image can step on a new high level and other medias can receive some experiences in building and spreading city image.
